LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Rifle Team will close out its fall season on Saturday, as it hosts second-ranked Georgia Southern. The action will commence at 9:00 a.m.

Last Time Out
The Keydets have racked up three consecutive 1-2 finishes, topping UAB last weekend as the mixed squad posted a season-high aggregate of 4589 and the women's team set an aggregate record 4557 to finish in second.
Christopher Hicks led all individuals with an aggregate of 1158, with Ryan Harlow placing second. Darian Tweedell claimed first in the air rifle with a 590, edging out Hicks' 589. Overall, VMI claimed the top four individual spots (Tweedell, Elizabeth Stann 1150), and had seven of the top 10 spots.
Scouting the Eagles
Georgia Southern has faced nothing but the top competition thus far, falling only to West Virginia and Kentucky, who were both ranked No. 2 at the time. The Eagles are coming off two straight victories, including one over No. 15 Army and on over national champion and eighth-ranked TCU. Against the Horned Frogs, Georgia Southern posted its season-high aggregate of 4745.
