LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Keydets remain on the road this weekend, visiting the Atlantic Coast Conference's N.C. State Saturday. Kickoff in Raleigh is slated for 2:00 p.m.
BATTLING BUCKNELL – VMI trailed 7-0 for much of Saturday's game at Bucknell, tying the game up early in the fourth, but conceding 14 subsequent points to the Bison due in part to a blocked punt that was picked up for a touchdown. The Keydets had some unfortunate luck earlier in the game, as a
Chance Knox 63-yard punt return was called back due to holding in the third quarter. VMI would make it a one possession game with under a minute and a half to play, but Bucknell recovered the onside attempt to take the game.
