About the Golden Griffins (2-8, 1-3)
Coming off two consecutive MAAC losses, Canisius enters Saturday's game hungry for victory after two close losses this past week to Manhattan College (L, 9-14) and Siena College (L, 9-10 OT). The Griffs have played a tough schedule to this point including losses to Hobart, Bellarmine and Michigan, but caught fire in mid-March with two straight wins over St. Bonaventure (W, 13-5) and an 18-16 barnburner over Marist College.

Colin Kelly is the dominant offensive player on the team with 27 goals on the season, while Keegan Kozack ranks seconds with 13 goals to go with five assists. Hunter Parucki and Kevin Carney are also offensive leaders with nine goals apiece for the year.

Goalie Tommy Kunz has played all but four minutes in the cage this season and owns a 14.13 goals-against average to go with 119 saves (.484 save percentage having faced 407 shot attempts).
