Track Teams Host VMI Winter Classic this Weekend

LEXINGTON, Va. – With its fourth home meet of the 2022 indoor season, the VMI track and field teams are set to host the VMI Winter Classic this weekend, February 11-12, at the Corps Physical Training Facility in Lexington.
 
After a successful VMI Winter Relays meet two weeks ago, the Keydets look to continue the success with personal records and setting new benchmarks for the program.

"After a week away from competition, our team was able to take advantage of some extra time and the results can be seen at our last meet," said VMI Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Zack Scott. "Teams such as Bucknell, Wofford, George Mason, Western Carolina and Gardner-Webb will provide great competition in every event as we prepare to host the Southern Conference Indoor Championships in two weeks, Feb. 26-27, at the CPTF."
