ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Junior
Tyler Mousaw placed third Saturday at 197 pounds as the VMI wrestling team competed at the 44
th annual Navy Classic, hosted at the Wesley A. Brown Field House.
Mousaw won his first two matches at 197 pounds by fall, pinning foes from Air Force and Lock Haven. He defeated Bucknell's Nolan Springer 8-7 to reach the semifinals and after his only defeat, rallied to best Jacob Lucas from Navy 9-6 in the third-place match.

Dyson Dunham took eighth at 133 pounds. He scored a major decision victory over Venumadhava Mirel from Navy 13-2
*Senior
Job Chishko narrowly missed placing in the top eight at 157 pounds after besting his opponent from Navy by technical fall 16-1 and scoring a 5-4 win over Selwyn Porter from The Citadel
*Freshman
Braxton Lewis earned two wins at 165 pounds

Freddy Junko and
Ray Cmil III each scored 8-2 victories at 141 pounds
*
Josh Yost,
Ryan Vigil and
Noah Roulo each had wins at 149 pounds
*
Josh Evans scored a 3-2 win at 285 pounds

Nebraska won the team title.
