VMI Swimming Team Hosts So. Virginia Friday

LEXINGTON, Va. – After a lengthy layoff, the VMI men's and women's swimming and diving teams will host nearby Southern Virginia University Friday evening at 6 p.m. in Clark King Pool.

No spectators will be allowed.

The Keydets are back in the pool for the first time in intercollegiate competition since November. Both Keydet teams went 2-0 in the fall season, defeating West Virginia University Institute of Technology in a home-and-home series.

The Southern Virginia men's team is 3-0 after victories over William Peace and the University of Lynchburg on Feb. 10. The Knight women's squad is 3-1 after splitting with the same two teams.
