LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Football will commence preparation for the 2020 football season with the first of August camp practices on Friday morning, August 7 at 9:30 am.

Most workouts will be held at the 9:30 am time slot throughout the month and will be held at Fiorini Field with the exception of August 21 and August 27 practices which will be conducted at Foster Stadium.

Practices will be open to be public and attendees are requested to observe social distancing guidelines.

VMI will open the 2020 season September 5 at Robert Morris. In other schedule news, the week 2 game at Virginia originally scheduled for September 12 in Charlottesville will now take place on Friday, September 11. The change was announced by the UVA Athletics department Thursday morning as part of the revised Atlantic Coast Conference football schedule. Kickoff time will be announced at a later date.
