SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference released its spring men's soccer schedule on Thursday, with six contests per team.

Men's soccer SoCon action begins on March 13 for all but VMI, which kicks off on March 16, and concludes on April 3 before the semifinal matches, hosted by the top two seeds, take place on April 9-10. The SoCon Championship final will be hosted by the highest remaining seed April on 16 or 17. In total, the league's seven men's soccer teams will play 21 matches, held on Tuesdays and Saturdays, over the four-week period. Furman and UNCG shared the SoCon regular-season title last season, while Mercer won the tournament crown for the third time in four years.

The Keydets, under first-year head coach Max Watson, open the 2021 SoCon slate on Tuesday, March 16 at Belmont University (Tenn.). VMI hosts Mercer (March 20), UNCG (March 23) and Wofford (April 3) this spring. Individual schools are also able to add non-conference games, which will be released at a future date.
