MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - VMI right-hander Reed Garrett was named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday afternoon, for the period ending Feb. 23. Garrett earns his fourth national honor, and fifth honor overall, after twirling his no-hitter this past Friday against Lafayette that was the first no-hitter in Division I this season. 

Garrett becomes only the second VMI pitcher to ever earn NCBWA honors, joining alumnus Trey Barham on April 3, 2007.
