Weather.com Report
Tomorrow's weather on Staten Island is expected to be rainy, with potentially an inch falling. Temperatures are predicted to be in the mid-50s. It will be a windy afternoon at Wagner College Stadium, with winds from the south at 15 miles per hour.

The Series
Tuesday's meeting with Wagner will be the 11th meeting all-time between the two programs. The series began in 2002, followed by eight years as co-members of the MAAC. Wagner departed for the Northeast Conference following the 2010 season.

VMI holds control of the series with an 8-2 record against Wagner, including a 6-2 mark when the teams were MAAC foes. The Keydets are undefeated on Staten Island, winning all three meetings.

On two occasions, the games have needed an overtime to decide a winner. Both of those extra period clashes have been the last two meetings. The teams split the overtime games, both of which were played in Lexington. Last season, VMI escaped with a 12-11 victory, giving Keydet head coach Brian Anken the first overtime win of his career.

When Last They Met
Last season, the two squads met at VMI's SprinTurf Field on March 13. The Keydets escaped with a 12-11 overtime victory, their first win of the year. The victory also served as the first overtime win in head coach Brian Anken's career.

Current senior Russell East notched the gamewinner. The 2013 tri-captain wasted no time giving VMI the win, scoring just 52 seconds into the overtime period. The game-winning assist came from the stick of Keith Long, who has since graduated and was drafted by the Rochester Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse.

VMI had four points from current junior Mickey Hofmeister, who scored two goals with two assists. Now a sophomore, Mike DeBlasio scored the first of three consecutive hat tricks while East had the game-winning goal and an assist.
