CHARLOTTE, N.C. - VMI alumna Hannah Gibson (Granger) has been named to the Big South All-Decade Team for the 2000's, according to information released by the conference Friday.
Gibson, nee Granger, was the 2009 Big South champion and a three-time all-conference honoree. The 2009 title was VMI's first individual title in women's cross country, and earned her Big South Runner of the Year honors. Granger would then go on to finish sixth in her final cross country season of 2010, adding that to a sixth-place finish in 2008. She was the 2010-11 VMI Three-Legged Stool winner, given to the cadet-athlete who best represents the three aspects of a cadet's life - athletics, academics and military.
