Getting to Know: Cross Country's Jason Thorpe

When did you start in Cross Country/Distance Running (what age) and why: I started running at age 11 when I was in 5th grade.  My parents were tired of me being lazy, so they made me start running, and here I am now!

Why VMI: VMI is a challenge unlike any other college.

Favorite VMI memory: Ring Figure weekend!

Least favorite VMI memory: The first few days of Hell Week!

Goals for this season: Get in the low 26-minute range in the 8K.

Favorite TV show/book and why: Don't really have a favorite movie, but my favorite TV shows are Walking Dead and Breaking Bad because they are very suspenseful. 
Favorite Books are The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series because they are great mystery thrillers!

When you have an hour of free time, you like to...: Play video games, chill, sleep.

When surfing the Internet, what web site do you visit most frequently? YouTube of course, like everyone else.

Favorite sport to watch (other than T&F): Football

If someone would look at the songs I have, on my IPOD or computer, I'd be embarrassed for them to see I have this song: None.  I don't really care what people think about my music.
