LEXINGTON, Va. –
This spring, VMI lacrosse coach Brian Anken will hold a weekly question and
answer video session, giving fans and followers of Keydets lacrosse the chance to
gain an insight into the program.
Each Wednesday coach
Anken, who is now in his second season at VMI, will take five selected questions from fans and answer them on camera. The first edition
of the Coach Anken Q&A is
set to hit the web on Feb. 8, prior to the team's season open on Feb. 11 at the
US Naval Academy.
All of Anken's
video question and answer segments will be posted on VMIKeydets.com as well as
on the athletic communication department's YouTube page under username
VMISportsInformation.
Anyone with questions regarding past games, upcoming games can email their questions to lacrosse@vmi.edu,
using “Brian Anken Q&A” in the subject line. Five emails each week will be selected
and answered on camera. Deadline for emails is 9 a.m. on Wednesdays.
“I feel this is a
great way to fully utilize our multimedia resources and have the opportunity to
stay connected with the VMI Lacrosse Family during the season,” said Anken. “We
have a lot of people excited about the direction of our program and keeping
them involved is always a priority.”
The Keydets open
their 30th season at Navy on Feb. 11. Game time is set for noon at
Navy-Marine Corps Stadium.
