Harrisonburg, Va. -- James Madison University used three goals from three different players to shutout the VMI (4-11-0, 0-5-0) men's soccer team 3-0 Wednesday night in Harrisonburg, Va.
JMU's (6-6-2, 1-3-2) first score came with just under eight-minutes remaining in the first-half when senior John Trice connected on a five-yard kick to make the score 1-0.
The Dukes jumped ahead 2-0 in the second-half when freshman Kurt Morsink scored at the 63rd minute mark.
Just five-minutes later JMU went ahead 3-0 after junior Denny Fulk, who assisted on Morsink's goal, scored from 16-yards out.
JMU goalie Kevin Trapp stopped all three Keydet shots on goal to record his sixth save of the season.
VMI will face Winthrop University Saturday afternoon at Patchin Field for Senior Day - the Keydets last home game of the season. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
