Drew Garrett enters his third season as an assistant coach on the VMI women’s soccer coaching staff.
The Norfolk, Virginia, native has several years of experience coaching the sport including the U14-15 Elite for Skyline Elite and the U11-12 Elite for SOCA.
Garrett also has years of playing experience including Pro23 for Beach FC (2013) and Skyline in Charlottesville, Virginia (2021-22). He also played travel club for Rush (2007-09) and for Beach FC from 2009-13.
He owns a USSF coaching license and runs a youth soccer personal training business on the side.
Garrett graduated from Great Bridge High School (Chesapeake, Va.) in 2012.
