Biography

Came out for spring ball after completing eligibility for basketball last winter…was a power forward for the Keydets and scored 100 career points and lettered three years…will spend his redshirt year on the gridiron and could see action at tight end…worked himself into the two-deep picture after spring drills…big, strong frame that bodes well for contributing despite never having played college football prior to this year.

2011 - Did not see game action…completed a four-year basketball career for the Keydets in 2011-12 and joined the football program in spring drills.

HIGH SCHOOL – A graduate of Benedictine High School in Richmond, Va.
    PERSONAL – Full name is Wayne Sheldon Whiting, Jr.,…Psychology major.
