TWO-YEAR LETTERMAN - Has transitioned well to outside linebacker from defensive back over the past year...switched positions in mid-spring and will be competing for playing time at rush end and outside linebacker...a fast player who uses speed to his advantage...has worked hard in the weight room, adding 25 pounds to his frame over the last year and a half...will also be a key player on special teams.

2007 - Played in all 11 games and made nine starts at SLB...had a great start to the season when he was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in week 1 against Lock Haven totaling 12 tackles, including one for loss, helping VMI to a 20-0 shutout... also had nine tackles against William & Mary and seven against James Madison...recovered a fumble at Robert Morris.

2006 – Saw action in all 11 games primarily on special teams and lettered for the first time.

2005 - Did not see game action and was redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL - A graduate of Benedictine High School in Richmond, Va...second team All-VISFA at running back...lettered four years in football...co-captained the team his senior season...named most outstanding offensive player award and earned elite cadet awards status his senior year...won super cadet award his junior year...also lettered in indoor and outdoor track.
