THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN - One of the veteran defensive linemen returning to the most experienced and deep positional group on the team…had another great year of off-season conditioning and was awarded one of the two top accolades on the team – Super Iron Keydet…slated to start at one tackle position where he patrolled last fall…set team strength and conditioning marks for squat (692 lbs.), bench press (442 lbs.) and dips (37)…registered a sack in the extended spring scrimmage.

2011 – Led the Big South in sacks with 5.0 for 27 yards…played on 639 snaps and lettered for the third time…started all 11 games at defensive end and finished with 43 tackles which ranked sixth highest on the team and led all defensive interior linemen…posted 8.5 tackles-for-loss for 43 yards which ranked second among team defenders…posted at least four tackles in each of the first seven games…had a season high tackles at Richmond in Week 3 with a fumble recovery and 0.5 tackles-for-loss…followed the next week with six tackles at Akron with two sacks…also had two sacks against Stony Brook…had two sacks for 14 yards against Coastal Carolina.

2010 - Saw action in all 11 games and lettered for the second time…posted a season-high three tackles in the season opener against Lock Haven…played a season-high 39 snaps against both Charleston Southern and Liberty…had a tackle for loss against Stony Brook…on the field for 311 snaps.

2009 - Played in all 11 games serving on special teams and seeing action on 74 plays...credited with tackles against James Madison, Gardner-Webb, and Charleston Southern...on the field for 11 plays against both James Madison and Richmond.

HIGH SCHOOL - Second Team All-Space Coast in ’08...First Team All-District (DE) in ’07 and ’08...blocked three kicks during 2008 campaign...First Team All-Space Coast in 2007...holds school bench press record, 400 lbs.
