Biography

THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN - Moves to the defensive side of the ball after lettering three years at wide receiver…transitioned well to the defensive secondary is projected as a starter at cornerback…one of the fastest players on the team…was an Iron Keydet in off-season conditioning - one of six to test to that level...could be a difference maker in the secondary if he continues his progress in fall camp…could also see action on returns.

2009 - Played in 10 games, missing only the ODU game in the season finale…earned his third varsity letter…rushed 26 times for 101 yards and one touchdown…caught four passes for 72 yards…served as a kick returner and took back three kickoffs for 46 yards - all against Coastal Carolina…carried for a season-high 29 yards against Presbyterian including a 17-yarder…scored his lone touchdown of the year against James Madison…hauled in a 35-yard pass against Charleston Southern and a 28-yarder against Stony Brook.

2008 - Tied for the team lead in receptions with seven and was second in receiving yardage...started all 11 games at slotback...rushed for a season-high 79 yards and a touchdown against Stony Brook...caught two passes for 40 yards and two scores against Coastal Carolina...snagged a 46-yard touchdown pass against Gardner-Webb for his longest reception of the year...caught a 36-yard touchdown pass against Ohio...returned four kicks for 14.5 average and three punts for a 7.7 average...saw action on special teams coverage and was credited with four tackles.

2007 - Rushed 32 times for 153 yards and averaged nearly five yards a carry...gained 91 yards on seven attempts in his first college game against Lock Haven and turned in an 83-yard TD run, VMI's longest run from scrimmage last season...his 83-yard touchdown run tied him for the fourth-longest run from scrimmage in VMI football history and set a Big South record for longest run at the time...returned ten kicks for 159 yards with a long of 23 against Presbyterian...lettered as a true freshman.
