TWO-YEAR LETTERMAN - Has been a steady and dependable performer in the secondary as a reserve as is slated to move into a starting role this fall…has starting experience…listed on the post-spring depth chart at starting strong safety… had the second best time in the 20-yard shuttle testing.

2015 – Played in all 11 games and finished in the top 10 in tackling (8th) on the team defensive charts with 42 tackles…had 24 solos and 18 assists…generated three pass break-ups…lettered for the second time…started the Richmond, Bucknell and Samford games at strong safety…credited with 10 tackles against Richmond…...had six tackles against Samford with a 0.5 TFL and also racked up six tackles against Chattanooga…broke up passes against Richmond, Furman, and Chattanooga.

2014 – Played in 10 games in reserve duty at cornerback and on special teams…played a season-high 35 snaps against Davidson…had three tackles against both Davidson and Furman…recovered a fumble against Davidson…returned one punt…lettered for the first time.

2013 – Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Powell High School (Knoxville Tenn.)… two-time 5A All-State and three-time All-District...two-time All-KIL...Prep Extra First Team in 2012...2012 Tennessee East-West All-Star team...holds school record for career (21) interceptions and single-season interceptions (seven)...KNX Defensive Player of the Week...Joy 62 Player of the Game (four times)...team Defensive Player of the Year, MVP, best DB and Special Teams Player of the Year in 2012...earned team's defensive back award in 2011 and was freshman MVP in 2009...career state include 120 solo tackles, five forced fumbles and three blocked field goals to go with his 21 interceptions.
