THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN - One of the most experienced returning offensive line players…expected to start at left tackle where he saw considerable action as a starter last year…moved back and forth between offensive and defensive lines before settling in on the offensive line last year…looking forward to a big senior season and will be counted on for consistency among the veteran performers.
2013 – Started nine straight games at left tackle beginning in week 3 of the 2013 campaign…lettered for the third time…did not play in the season finale against Bucknell…played on 627 snaps on the season and saw a season-high 85 plays against Robert Morris.
2012- Started the season at defensive tackle but was moved to offense at mid-season…started the last five games at left tackle…lettered for the second time…had two solo tackles and one assist in the Navy game in week 4 of the season.
2011 – Played in all 11 games as a true freshman on the defensive line and appeared in 218 snaps…lettered for the first time…posted a season-high four tackles against Coastal Carolina in Week 6 and had two tackles each against Stony Brook and Gardner-Webb…broke up a pass against Gardner-Webb…finished the season with 13 tackles including six solos and seven assists.
HIGH SCHOOL - Graduate of Spain Park HS (Ala.)...two-year starter as a junior and senior...senior season stats - 60 tackles (including two sacks and eight tackles for loss), three blocked kicks, one interception, one caused fumble, one pass break-up, five QB hurries and five QB hits...awarded Player of the Game vs. Bob Jones...awarded & recognized as an honoree of the Best in High School Football...ranked #2 Defensive Tackle in the state...Minority Achievement Council - peer helper...Habitat for Humanity.
