- A product of Penn Cambria High School, Hite followed up a 2023 season in which he was named 3A Second Team All-State (102.0 tackles, 17.0 TFL) with a senior year that included 109.0 tackles, 10.0 TFLs and 56.0 solo tackles
- A member of the Penn Cambria baseball team, Hite was also utilized on offense as he recorded seven catches for 116 yards in 2024
