While coaching the running backs, RB Dejoun Lee was the conference player of the year and first team All-CAA in the spring 2021 season, followed by a second team All-CAA selection in fall 2021. Dejoun Lee was also named to the Walter Payton Award Final List in the spring 2021 season and was an Academic All-American. During the spring 2021 season Delaware reached the final four in the NCAA Playoffs, finished the year ranked #4, and Head Coach Danny Rocco was named AFCA Regional Coach of the Year. In 2019 Meyer coached an All-CAA tight end, and in 2018 Delaware reached the playoffs for the first time since 2010.

Meyer brings four years of playing experience and 13 years of coaching experience. A Buffalo, N.Y., native, Meyer played his college football at Buffalo State College. While at Buffalo State he was voted a team captain, was a three-time All-Conference selection and an ECAC Southeast First-Team All-Star in 2007. Upon graduation, Meyer held five school wide receiver records and still holds three of those records.

After graduation, Greg immediately took on the role of wide receivers coach at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. He spent his second season at Lycoming as the defensive backs coach before returning to his role as the wide receivers coach in his third and final season in 2011. With his help, Lycoming achieved an 8-2 record in 2011 and had one All-American, two All-East Region players and three All-Conference players.

In 2012, Greg made the move to the University at Buffalo as a wide receivers coach and offensive graduate assistant. In 2013, he helped Buffalo reach the Idaho Potato Bowl after an 8-5 season. That year, two of Buffalo's wide receivers hauled in more than 50 catches and 600 receiving yards. In addition to coaching at Buffalo, he also attained his Master of Education degree in 2014. After achieving his master's degree, Greg stayed at Buffalo from 2015-2017 as Director of Player Development and Offensive Quality Control.
