Bilal Marshall enters his first season as the wide receivers coach at VMI.

He comes to VMI from West Virginia University where he was a graduate assistant coach for two years working on the offensive side of the ball with the wide receivers.

Marshall began his coaching career at Champagnat High School in Florida where he was the offensive coordinator and coached wide receivers for a team that won the Class 2a State Championship.

He was a two-year starting wide receiver at Purdue and played in the Heart of Dallas Bowl in 2012.

Marshall played the 2017 season in the Canadian Football League for the Ottawa Red Blacks.
