2011 - Played in nine games and saw action on 530 plays…led the defense in tackles for loss with 11 for 37 yards…posted a season-high six tackles against William & Mary, Richmond, and Stony Brook…had five tackles each against Akron and Charleston Southern…had 3.5 tackles-for-loss for 14 yards against Stony Brook including a sack for eight yards and a forced fumble…broke up four passes and had three quarterback hurries…showed great leadership on the defensive front of a unit that had lost three starting tackles from the previous year…got high staff grades for Delaware State, Richmond, Coastal Carolina, Charleston Southern, and Stony Brook games… one of three defensive lineman to rack up 40 or more tackles last year…earned third varsity letter.
2010 - Played in 10 games and lettered for the second time…participated in 32 plays at Virginia for his most time during the season and had a season high five tackles…had four tackle games against William & Mary and Stony Brook…recovered a fumble at Army and forced a fumble against Liberty…finished with 25 tackles on the year.
2009 - Played as a true freshman on the defensive line and lettered after seeing action in all 11 games….played a season-high 26 snaps against James Madison and Gardner-Webb…made three tackles at James Madison and two tackles in the opener against Robert Morris…on the field for 180 snaps…finished the year with five solos and four assists.
