Biography

ONE-YEAR LETTERMAN - Returns to the secondary with starting experience...has the ability to make the big play...will vie with classmate Bryant Youngblood for the starting job at right cornerback...could also back up at the other cornerback slot...a physical player and good cover corner.

2006 - One of three true freshman to letter in the secondary last season...moved into the starting lineup at cornerback at mid-season and finished the year with 41 tackles including 26 solo stops...made three interceptions against Charleston Southern which was the most in a game by a Keydet since Gene Williams picked off three passes against The Citadel in 1973... Made a season-high eight tackles with five solos and three assists with a fumble recovery against Gardner-Webb ...posted six tackles each against William & Mary and The Citadel...had four games with four or more solo tackles.

HIGH SCHOOL - Prepped at Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Va...Lettered four years in high school football playing wide receiver, cornerback, and defensive back...played on the 2003 Division 6 AAA football state championship team at FUMA...also played on championship district teams in 2002 and 2004...coached by John Shuman (VMI ’80) at Fork Union.
