Biography

ONE-YEAR LETTERMAN - Continues to add depth to the receiving corps…one of the most experienced receivers returning to the team…will be in the two-deep rotation again this fall…continues to work out at  “Z” position.

2012 – Played in all but two games (Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb) and was on the field for 19 plays against Chowan and 15 plays against Richmond…caught one pass for 11 yards against Chowan and one pass for four yards against Richmond… lettered for the first time.

2011 – Played in seven games and caught two passes for 18 yards…played in the first six games before not seeing action over the next four games…saw the majority action early in the season and caught both passes against Richmond in week three.

2010 - Played in eight games as a true freshman…caught one pass for 12 yards against Old Dominion...played a season-high 12 snaps against Old Dominion.

HIGH SCHOOL - Starter at both wide receiver and quarterback at Brookville...caught 10 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown in the 2008 Group AA, Division 3, state championship game...three-year letterman.
    PERSONAL - Full name is Alec Barrett Thompson...Civil Engineering major.
