TWO-YEAR LETTERMAN - Will take the field with a new perspective as he enters the season in the defensive secondary after playing the last two seasons at quarterback…adjusted well to the change and is projected as a starting free safety…had two strong spring scrimmages where he took charge and showed confidence in the new position.

2011 – Played as backup quarterback and appeared in six games...completed 21 of 42 passes for 268 yards and threw two touchdowns…had TD strikes against William and Mary and Stony Brook…his 81-yard touchdown pass strike to Aaron Lewis against Stony Brook ranks as a top 10 longest pass in VMI history…also rushed for 65 yards on the season including a touchdown against Coastal Carolina…lettered for the second time.

2010 - Split time at quarterback and saw action as both a starter and reserve…played in nine games and lettered…threw for 370 yards and three touchdowns…tossed two touchdown strikes in his college debut against Lock Haven and completed seven of 14 passes for 120 yards including a long of 46 yards…completed 10 of 19 passes at Gardner-Webb for 117 yards and a touchdown…made his lone start against Liberty.

2009 - Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL - Named First Team All-State QB and Offensive Player of the Year for AAA by Virginiapreps.com & Rivals.com...Second Team AAA All-State QB by the Associated Press...unanimous vote for First Team All-District (three-consecutive years) and Offensive Player of the Year (two straight seasons)...Central Region Report First Team QB (twice) and Player of the Year by Virginiapreps.com...First Team QB and Player of the Year by Progress Index...All-Metro First Team QB and All-Metro Player of the Year by the Richmond Times Dispatch...received All-American status through O-D.com, named to its top 100 (No. 25) in the nation, and invited to play in their All-Star Game...All-Central District and Central Region Academic...2008 Statistics: 232 for 379 (61%) for 3499 yards and 48 touchdowns (new VHSL single season record).
