Biography

2019 – Played and started all 12 games at end…saw the most plays of Keydet defensive linemen with 773 total on the season…had 53 tackles on the season which ranked ninth most among Keydet defenders and second among defensive linemen…led the team in tackles for loss with 11 for 41 yards…produced six quarterback hurries which was second on the team and fourth in the conference…racked up five games with six or more tackles including a season-high seven against Western Carolina…made a stat mark in TFL in 10 of 12 games including two for seven yards against Mars Hill…2019-20 SoCon Academic Honor Roll.
2018 – Played in all 11 games with heavy rotation on the defensive line and made one start (Chattanooga)…played a total of 475 snaps…compiled 26 snaps including three for loss for 12 yards…led VMI defenders in quarterback hurries with six…had a season-high five tackles each in two contests including a four-tackle solo effort with two quarterback hurries at Samford Oct. 13 and also had five stops against Furman…credited with an eight yard sack against Tusculum Nov. 10…earned 2018-19 SoCon Academic Honor Roll distinction…lettered for the second time.

2017 – Played in all 11 games in reserve defensive line duty and was on the field for 172 total snaps...posted six solos and 19 assists for 25 tackles...logged a season-high 8 tackles with a tackle-for-loss (2 yards) against Samford...racked up four tackles each against Air Force and Robert Morris.

High School – A graduate of Briar Woods – Ashburn, Va...posted 118 tackles over last two years at Briar Woods (54 solo, 64 assists) with 1 int, 5 sacks, 11 TFL, 2 PBU, and 3 FF...was selected the 2016 team MVP and defensive player of the year...was 2016 first team defense All-Conference and second team defense All-Region...tied three Briar Woods defensive records in 2016...was 2015 defensive lineman of the year at Briar Woods and named second team all-conference on defense and honorable mention on offense...four-year honor roll student and National Honor Society and posted a 4.00 GPA during the football season.
