THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN – One of the top receivers returning to the Southern Conference and should again contend for all-conference honors…had a breakout season in 2015 and led the SoCon in receptions per game…has all the tools to perform at a high level each Saturday…ranks third in the school list in all-time receptions (158) and fourth in receiving yards (1,986)…has six 100-yard receiving games which is the second most in school history…26 consecutive games with a catch…has led the team in receiving yards that last two seasons with 1,793 yards which is the most prolific two-year total by a receiver in school history.
2015 – Named 2015 First Team All-Southern Conference Coaches and Media teams… Led the Southern Conference in receiving yards per game (81.1) and receptions per game (7.6)…caught a school season record 84 passes for 892 yards…the new school season mark established surpassed Mark Stock’s 73 catches in 1988…set a new single game record for receptions in a game when he hauled in 16 catches for 218 yards against Mercer Oct. 24…the receiving 218 yards against Mercer was the third highest total in VMI history and earned him SoCon Offensive Player of the Week honors…started the season with 13 catches for 118 yards and a touchdown against Ball State Sept. 2…had 10 catches for 164 yards against Wofford Oct. 31…caught at least five passes in all but one game and extended his consecutive games reception streak to 26 games dating back to the 2013 season.
2014 – Put together one of the best performances in years by a VMI receiver catching 58 passes for 901 yards…posted the most receiving yards by a Keydet since Mark Stock’s 1,161 yards in 1988…tied for the team lead in touchdown receptions with four…ranked second in the Southern Conference in receiving yards a game (75.1) and was third in catches per game (4.8)…accounted for 12 plays over 25 yards which stood as the most of any VMI player from scrimmage…turned in the two longest pass receptions of the year with a 60-yarder (Davidson) and 52-yarder (The Citadel)…caught a pass in all 12 games including nine games of at least four catches…put together one of the biggest games in Foster Stadium with 10 catches for 215 yards against Davidson…averaged a team high 15.5 yards per catch…had three games over 100 yards receiving – Davidson (215), Western Carolina (119), and The Citadel (165)…caught six passes for 61 yards and a touchdown against Gardner-Webb...lettered for the second time.
2013 – Played in all 12 games seeing action at wideout and special teams…caught at least one pass in nine of 12 games…finished the year with 16 catches for 193 yards…caught three passes for a season-high 49 yards including a 32-yarder against Presbyterian…got a coaches’ high grade against Gardner-Webb after making two key receptions that sustained drives…had three catches for 24 yards against The Citadel in the Military Classic of the South.
HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Brooke Point High School (Stafford, Va.)… three-year letterman in football and two-year letterman in basketball...2012 Free-Lance Star Week 11 Player of the Week...2012 All-Area and All-District as both a WR and LB...2012 Virginia Preps Honorable Mention All-Region (WR)...had 38 catches and 10 touchdowns, along with 67 tackles, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and five interceptions...Navy ROTC.
