ONE-YEAR LETTERMAN – The leading returning rusher on the team...continued development with a productive spring practice...should get plenty of touches again this fall both as runner and receiver.

2016 – Played in all 11 games and led the team in rushing with 491 yards on 125 carries and three touchdowns...named to the 2016 SoCon All-Freshman offensive team...rushed for a career-high 136 yards on 19 carries and scored on a two-yard run to cap a second half surge against Western Carolina...also had a 37-yard rush against Western Carolina...scored the game winning touchdown (12-yard run) in third overtime to lead VMI past Bucknell, 23-17, and gained 80 yards on 17 carries...rushed for 86 yards on 19 carries at Morehead State and ripped off a 45-yard run...carried 10 times for 68 yards with a long of 21 yards against Furman...caught 15 passes for 100 yards including three catches for 41 yards vs. The Citadel...lettered as a true freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL – A graduate of Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk, Va...four-year letterman who played running back and defensive back on two high school state title teams that went 54-4…set school single season mark for rushing yards and touchdowns with 2,179 yards and 35 TDs…First team all-Tidewater and named to 4A conference, region, and district offensive player of the year...also played basketball.

MAJOR – Biology major.
