THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN – Has etched his name in the VMI record book in several kicking categories…owns three of the 10 field goals in VMI football history made from 50+ yards…entering the season, tied for fourth in career field goals made (27) and tied for second in career PAT’s made 86..ranked 8th in school career scoring (86)…has attempted the fourth most field goals (43) in VMI history.
2015 - Converted 11 of 14 field goals for 78.6% success rate…kicked a 55-yarder against Western Carolina in the season finale which stands as an Alumni Memorial Field record and second longest in school history…kicked game winning 34-yard field goal against Morehead State and was named SoCon Special Teams Player of the Week for that effort… made his first five attempts of the year and seven of the first eight attempts before finishing the year converting four of the last five tries…was a perfect 5 for 5 from 20-29 yards and made both attempts over 40 yards…was second on the team in scoring with 58 points…was 25 of 28 in extra-points…averaged 59.6 yards per kickoff with eight touchbacks…named to the 2015 preseason All-Conference team…lettered for the third time.
2014 – Converted 7 of 13 field goals and 33 of 35 PATs…finished the season strong by converting his last four field goal attempts…hit a season-high two field goals in both attempts against Western Carolina including a 45-yarder…nailed a season-high 49-yarder against Mercer…had 18 touchbacks in 2014 – an improvement of +10 from the previous season…lettered for the second time.
2013 – Stepped in as a true freshman and handled both placekicking and kickoffs…converted nine of 16 field goals and 28 of 29 extra points…kicked 52-yard field goals against both Gardner-Webb and Bucknell to become the first Big South kicker to blast two field goals from that distance in the same season while VMI was competing in the league …kicked the fifth-most PATs in a season in school history…his 52-yard field goals tie him for the fourth longest in VMI program history… was named special teams player in the BSC November 11 for his performance against Gardner-Webb…ranked third in the BSC in field goals made per game and fourth in kick scoring points…kicked off for eight touchbacks on the season…seven of his nine field goals were from 30+ yards.
HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Menchville High School (Newport News, Va.)...2012 First Team All-757, All-Peninsula District, All-Region and All-Stars...set new VHSL record with a 60-yard field goal in 2011, when he earned a litany of honors, including: All-State Second Team specialist (Virginiapreps.com), First Team All-Region specialist (VaPreps), First Team All-District kicker, Second Team All-District punter, Second Team All-757 kicker, First Team All-757 (junior team) kicker and the MVP award for his team...2010 Second Team All-District and All-757 Freshman/Sophomore First Team, when he also earned honorable mention honors for the main All-757 team and set a new district record for longest field goal.
