TWO-YEAR LETTERMAN – Has developed into a dependable receiver throughout his college career…looking forward to being a contributing part of a talented receiving corps…the third leading returning receiver in yardage…caught a 65-yard touchdown pass on the first play of the opening scrimmage of spring drills…a former walk-on who can deliver a big play…caught three passes for 51 yards and a touchdown in the final spring scrimmage…slated to start at one receiver position…conditioned well in spring testing and was Red/Yellow designation…brother of quarterback John Burton.

2013 – Played in all 11 games and was on the field for 438 snaps…started seven games…caught at least one pass in all but one game and finished with 25 hauls for 322 yards and one touchdown…caught three passes in three consecutive games (Robert Morris, Charleston Southern, Presbyterian) and had a season-high four catches against Coastal Carolina…his 59 yards receiving against Charleston Southern was a season-high and he snagged a 40-yarder…caught a 47-yard TD pass against North Greenville…lettered for the second time.

2012 – Played in nine games and lettered…played extensively in the opener against Delaware State seeing action on 58 plays and catching a 12-yard pass…saw the playing field for the last eight games of the season.

2011 – Saw action in four games.

2010 - Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL – A graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School (Apex, N.C .)
