Keydets come up short against Highlanders

RADFORD, VA – The VMI Keydets fell to Radford 3-1 on Wednesday night in Radford, Virginia.
 
The scoring started early as Radford jumped out to a 1-0 lead after a goal in the second minute. VMI Freshman Jaden Moore evened up the contest in the 41st minute, tallying his fourth goal of the season. The teams would enter halftime at a 1-1 stalemate.
 
The Highlanders would net two goals in the second half, in the 62nd and 71st minutes. Senior goalkeeper Santiago Rocha added eight more saves, upping his season total to 39.
 
The Keydets will next be in action against SoCon foe ETSU on Sunday at 4 p.m. in Johnson City, Tennessee.
