Keydets fall to Bulldogs 4-0

LEXINGTON, VA – The VMI Keydets were defeated by the UNC Asheville Bulldogs 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Patchin Field.
 
The Keydets allowed all four Bulldog goals in the first half. However, VMI held UNC Asheville to zero goals in the second half, also allowing only four shots on goal. VMI senior Santiago Rocha tallied seven saves in the first half.
 
The Keydets fall to 4-5 for the 2026 campaign while the Bulldogs improve to 4-1-1.
 
They will next go head-to-head against the Howard Bison in Washington, D.C. next Saturday, September 19.
