Keydets handle Revs in midweek bout

LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball took care of business at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium, earning the season sweep over George Washington Tuesday evening.

After defeating the Revolutionaries on the road a few weeks ago, the Keydets (24-8, 2-4 SoCon) welcomed them to Lexington and tallied a 10-7 victory. VMI has swept the season series against GW for the first time since 1968.

- Cole Cook went three-for-four at the dish with four RBIs.
- Cole Raile smashed his ninth home run, ending the night with a pair of hits, two RBIs, and three runs.
- Ayden Schnarrs and Bradley Garner tallied two hits apiece.
- Eli Tyndall pitched 3.1 innings en route to the win, allowing just three hits and no runs.
- The Keydets drew 10 walks, the ninth game with double-digit walks.

Third Inning: A pair of home runs flipped the script and gave the Revs a 4-3 advantage.
Fourth Inning: GW plated two runs in the fourth to double up the Keydets, 6-3.
