LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Keydets remain on the road this weekend, renewing an old rivalry in Richmond as they face the Spiders at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

THE SERIES
- The series between VMI and Richmond is one filled with history, as the Spiders have the slight edge (40-46-5) all-time
- Saturday's game will mark the first time in a decade the two teams have squared off

ROCCO REUNION
- Richmond is a familiar place for Coach Danny Rocco, who was the head coach for the Spiders from 2012-2016

- Richmond was voted to finish second behind Lehigh in the Patriot League Preseason Poll
- The Spiders are coached by Russ Huesman, who is in his 9th year as the head coach
- Kyle Wickersham has been the main signal caller, going 40-for-57 with one touchdown and two interceptions
- Wickersham is also a threat on the ground, totaling 83 yards and two touchdowns while Aziz Foster-Powell has 107 net yards rushing
- The Spiders have spread the ball around early, with 10 receivers collecting a catch led by Ja'vion Griffin's nine catches
