The Keydets (5-8, 1-3 SoCon) split last weekend's Southern Conference play, defeating Gardner-Webb, 22-20, but then dropping to Bellarmine, 31-9.
After earning his eighth fall against Division I opponents, 149-pounder
Patrick Jordon is now ranked 10th nationally in falls. In total, the sophomore has secured 13 pins and holds a 20-3 overall record, going 8-1 in duals and 3-0 in the SoCon. Also providing some insurance is 184-pounder
Braxton Lewis who leads the team with six tech falls with eight dual victories.
Toby Schoffstall has been producing at 197 pounds, earning 34 dual points, the second most on the team, and eight dual triumphs.
On the other end of the mat, the Camels bring in a trio of nationally-ranked talent. Campbell, who is 8-8 overall and a perfect 4-0 in conference play, will face Presbyterian right before battling VMI.
VMI is 12-14 against Campbell, dating back to 1971-72 as the first recorded dual between the two programs. Last season, the Camels blanked the Keydets, 46-0, in Lexington. VMI is searching for its first win over Campbell since 2015.
