LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball (3-0) put on an offensive clinic Saturday morning, defeating Maryland Eastern Shore in game three of the series at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium.
The Keydets held a 15-0 advantage over the Hawks until heavy rain came into play, resulting in the game being called in the sixth inning. VMI has won three straight to start a season for the first time since 2010. In the first three games of 2025, VMI has scored 40 runs, the most runs scored to start a season in program history.
