LEXINGTON, Va. – After the Keydets' historic win on Saturday, it was announced by the Southern Conference that VMI Men's Soccer would be dubbed the sixth seed in the upcoming conference tournament and will battle the three-seeded and nationally-recognized UNC Greensboro Spartans.
The Keydets, who earned their first SoCon win in 23 seasons on Saturday, will turn around and travel to Macon, Georgia, for a first-round matchup against the Spartans on Friday at 7 p.m.
The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+. The winner will face the host and second seed Mercer on Sunday, November 9, in the semifinal round.

Match 1: No. 4 ETSU vs. No. 5 Wofford, 4 p.m. (Greenville, S.C.)
Match 2: No. 3 UNC Greensboro vs. No. 6 VMI, 7 p.m. (Macon, Ga.)
Semifinals, Sunday, Nov. 9
Match 3: No. 1 Furman vs. Match 1 winner, 3 p.m. (Greenville, S.C.)
Match 4: No. 2 Mercer vs. Match 2 winner, 7 p.m. (Macon, Ga.)
Finals, Saturday, Nov. 15 or Sunday, Nov. 16
Match 5: Match 3 winner vs. Match 4 winner (Match Time and Location TBD)
