LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Men's Soccer will welcome Top Drawer Soccer's No. 11 Furman to Patchin Field on Saturday for the Drew Ross Memorial Foundation Match, sponsored by Seasons Bakery & Café.
The Keydets (2-8-3, 0-2-0) aim to snap a three-game skid and seek their first Southern Conference victory of the season, while the Paladins (8-1-4, 1-0-1) look to continue their dominant season with a league-leading ninth victory.
Saturday's match will be a charity match for the Drew Ross Memorial Foundation, an organization formed in honor of the late Drew Ross, who passed away in the line of duty in 2018. The team will honor Drew's memory during the match, with special remarks from Stephen Ross, VMI Soccer's all-time winningest coach and the father of Drew, at halftime. Admission to the match is free, and VMI invites all soccer fans and alumni to come together for a day of remembrance and camaraderie. To learn more or to make a donation, visit drewross.org.
