LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball and the VMI Keydet Club will host the inaugural First Pitch Dinner at Marshall Hall in the Center for Leadership and Ethics on January 24 at 6 p.m.
The reception will be the unofficial kickoff to the Keydets' 2025 campaign, providing all attendees with the opportunity to meet and engage with the cadet-athletes and preview the upcoming season. All proceeds will go directly to supporting the VMI baseball team.
Former VMI pitcher and current Minnesota Twin Josh Winder '19 will make a special appearance and address the audience.
"This event provides a fantastic opportunity to showcase the strong support and interest our program receives from parents, donors, and supporters," says VMI Baseball Head Coach,
Sam Roberts. "I am excited to create an evening that unites VMI Baseball, alumni, players, families, and fans to celebrate everything our program represents."
