Early deficit haunts VMI Baseball in road loss

NORFOLK, Va. – VMI Baseball (16-16, 2-4 SoCon) put up a fight late in the game against Norfolk State University (8-20) but ultimately fell at Marty L. Miller Field Tuesday afternoon.

The Keydets scored four unanswered runs to issue a comeback, but it was the seven early runs from the Spartans that proved costly, giving VMI the 7-6 loss.
