tLEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Water Polo Team returns to the pool Friday, opening up the 2024 VMI-MAAC Showcase against Mount St. Mary's, before conference matchups with No. 25 Marist, No. 22 LIU and La Salle to close out the weekend.
Senior Day
Sunday's contest against La Salle will be Senior Day for VMI's lone first classman
Caragh Osborne. A prime facilitator, Osborne has 11 goals so far this year to go with 14 goals (career-high) in 13 games started. A Pleasant Hill, California native, Osborne led the Keydets with 22 assists a year ago, totaling 13 goals. Osborne played in all 18 games as a freshman for VMI, helping the Keydets make a run to the MAAC Championship game. As a sophomore, Osborne totaled 59 points before 35 in her junior campaign. Entering the weekend, Osborne has 54 goals, 84 assists, 71 steals and 63 drawn exclusions for her career.
