LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Baseball team capped off its fourth game in five days at Lamore Field on Tuesday afternoon, downing Norfolk State 14-4 in seven innings.

The Keydets would score at least a run in the first five frames, breaking the game open in the fourth inning when they hung an eight-spot on the Spartans.

VMI improves its record to an even 9-9 on the season and is 7-4 at home in 2024. The Keydets will hit the road this weekend, visiting UNC Asheville for three.
