The Season so Far
VMI has scored three victories on the year already, posting a 3-6 record thus far with wins over Mercyhurst, McKendree and Carthage. The Keydets were in action just two weeks ago at the Macalester Invite in Minnesota, where they defeated Carthage 19-5. Despite falling twice, two of the three losses that weekend came by a combined score of just three goals.
Leading the Way
Offensively, Courtney Novotny has found the back of the net 31 times through nine games. Veteran Caragh Osborne has a team-high seven assists, adding seven goals as well. In net, both Ysabel Casillas and Maddie Day have seen action, with Casillas collecting a total of 48 saves.
