LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball has announced the home and away dates for the 2025 Southern Conference schedule.
The Keydets will host four series and will travel for three series starting in March and ending in May. With the announcement of the conference schedule, VMI has released its full 2025 campaign which includes 53 games against 20 different opponents.
VMI opens the league schedule at Cullowhee, North Carolina for a three-game set against Western Carolina on March 21-23. The Keydets will then welcome UNC Greensboro (March 28-30), Mercer (April 4-6), and Samford (April 17-19) for three-straight home conference series. The highly-anticipated rivalry matchup against The Citadel will be April 25-27 in Charleston, South Carolina. VMI will close out the SoCon slate with ETSU at home on May 2-4 then at Wofford on May 15-17.
The 2025 SoCon Championship will commence on Wednesday, May 21, and conclude on Sunday, May 25, and crown the tournament champion and automatic qualifier for the 2025 NCAA Baseball Regional.
