LEXINGTON, Va. – In a physical battle, VMI Men's Soccer was shut out by preseason favorite Mercer at Patchin Field Saturday afternoon on Senior Day.
Despite the 3-0 score, the Keydets (4-6-2, 0-2-0 SoCon) kept pace with the Bears (5-2-5, 1-0-1 SoCon), showing a valiant effort in Southern Conference play. VMI continues the homestand on Wednesday when the Keydets host Mary Baldwin with a 4 p.m. kickoff.
