LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Men's Soccer hit the throttle against Mary Baldwin, scoring the most goals since 1979 with a 10-0 shutout at Patchin Field Wednesday afternoon.
The Keydets (5-6-3) match last season's win total in dramatic fashion, scoring 10 goals against the Squirrels (2-8-2) for their third shutout victory. VMI will travel to Greenville, South Carolina this weekend to face Furman in Southern Conference play.

- Keydets posted a pair of goals in the first half, the first off a Reid header off a free kick assist from
Timofey Dovgalyuk (20:56) followed by a solo goal from Martin (25:55) to take a 2-0 lead at the break.
- Two minutes into the second period, Lee put up the first goal of the frame off a
Cole Mooney assist inside the box.
- Lee would record his second goal of the day (66:47) with a boomerang-like shot into the top-right corner of the goal.
- Less than three minutes later, McGovern headed in a corner kick from Lee to make it 5-0.
- At 70:01,
Woongchan Oh got in on the scoring action before Petrusevski posted the Keydets' seventh goal of the evening (79:24).
- Within a two and a half minute span, VMI scored three goals, the first from Martin (86:51) before Petrusevski (87:20) and
Anthony Huang (89:24) sealed the match.
