The Keydets are back on the road after a home game against Presbyterian College Saturday ended a four-game road trip to begin the 2023 season. VMI had several chances to take the lead or tie but shots from
Conner Reid and
Yeirin Mejia were saved by the keeper and
Jesse Lee's attempt went just wide as the Blue Hose held on for a 1-0 win. Sophomore
Zack Murphy made several spectacular saves in net and had six stops on the day.
About Campbell:
The Camels are 0-1-3 on the season after falling 3-2 at Drexel Saturday. Campbell opened the season with ties against South Carolina, Delaware and UNCG. Adam Yousfi leads the team with three goals and one assist.
